About us
The Pilgrim Pub, (formerly The Bell), was bought in December 2009 by a group of local businessmen, who also have an interest in The Uniocorn at Cublington. They set about modernising and refurbishing the property, to make it a more modern pub that the whole village can be truly proud of. As part of a new beginning, a new name was chosen after local consultation and The Pilgrim was born from the tremendous local history associated with the Reverend John Schorne, rector in the village in the medieval period.
Such was the local interest in the new pub, on 24th April 2010 over 100 local residents came to help reclaim the garden and stake a claim to their pub. This is just what we wanted . We want to be at the centre of your community. Feel free to use it as a meeting place for friends, colleagues and family alike.
Thank you for supporting us.
